My Sister's Keeper.....

Where to begin..........

Kjerstin is a fighter! Such a pain in the rear sometimes because of her fierce independent personality and then you add on her being the "baby" of the family. (Can't wait until she reads that part!). Well, turns out she has the perfect attitude and personality to fight through this.

Here is an update .......

Not much change. She is trying to take breaths on her own, which is a good sign. Her temperature is normal. Her hemoglobin came up so we didn't have to do a blood transfusion. We will do an MRI tomorrow and know more then. I will update this for everyone as we get new news.

Please say prayers. She is in God's hands and we are His people. We don't have all the answers, because what would life be if we did? This is what Faith is all about!

Everyone has been asking what they can do......... everyone can do several things. To begin, please hug your loved ones and tell them everything you ever want them to know. Do it NOW!! Don't take this lightly because I didn't tell my sister Saturday night when she was sitting on my couch and I let her leave without hugging her. Now I hope she knows. I hope she hears me telling her what I didn't tell Saturday night.

Amy Nelson has a wonderful blog that everyone needs to read.

Food has been greatly appreciated and continues to be. Thank you to everyone.

We do have an angel that visits everyday. Her name is Jennifer Keys!!!! I had never met her until now, but she comes everyday and brings everything we need! She has been a lifeline for this family and friends alike, always there with a helping hand and a kind word. Thank you for your help Jennifer!

Keep the prayers coming, and thank you ALL so very much for your continued support!

  1. Please read the blog at amynelsonmom.blogspot.com and read "Hug your Kids".

Update..... We are doing some more Xrays. May have broken foot and other arm. MRI first thing in morning. When they checked her pupils, they had to open her eye and it is swollen. While doing it, Kjerstin moved her foot. The doctor said that was a good sign. She may be developing pneumonia. She may have aspirated something in her lungs during the crash. Resting with sedation until morning.

  6. Hello Wendy,
Please give your mom a hug. We are praying and thank you for this blog. Tell Kjerstin that the Bradshaw kids are praying for her and say hello. We are just around the corner if you would like for us to feed some animals or do some chores. Please let us help in any way.

  7. Wendy, thank you for taking the time to update and share your personal feelings with those who are praying for you. Please give your mom a hug from the Kurimsky family. We have known your family for a long time and have watched you all grow up. The memories of all the good times are what sustain us through the wilderness times in our lives. This is a very difficult time for all of you, but know that God is with you and we are all praying for you. Blessings - Candy Kurimsky
